Registration at the practice
Welcome to our occupational therapy practice, Baumann & Weil!
We are delighted that you have found your way to us. We appreciate your interest in our occupational therapy services and thank you for your trust.
You can easily register with us via our online registration form. In the following section, we explain our registration process and have clearly outlined the most important steps for you:

Online registration
Fill out the registration form and send it back to us. Please select either statutory health insurance or private insurance, depending on your insurance provider.

Review of your registration
We carefully review every registration. Our team decides whether a suitable therapy spot is currently available or whether you can be added to our therapy spot list.
Our practice has a limited number of home visit, practice and private places. Allocation is based on our space capacity, availability and the treatment specialisms of our therapists. In addition, there are only a few appointments available, some of which are booked up long in advance, particularly around lunchtime.
Therefore, it is not possible to consider every application or to offer a place on the therapy list in every case. If this is the case for you, we will inform you as soon as possible and ask for your understanding.
3.
Quick response
Within a week, we will let you know whether we can offer you a therapy place directly or whether we will add you to our therapy place list.
4.
Therapy place list & regular feedback
In order to keep our therapy place list up to date, we ask you to actively contact us again by email after three months if you are still interested in a therapy place. Without feedback, we will assume that your request has been resolved and will remove you from the therapy place list.

Securing a therapy place
To ensure that your therapy with us gets off to a smooth start, we have compiled all the important information for you here:
Prescription
So that we can get started right away, we need your correctly issued prescription at least 72 hours before your first appointment. As a service provided by our practice, we will check this for you free of charge and get back to you immediately. You can drop it in our letterbox.
Important: Prescriptions for remedies are valid for 28 days from the date of issue. In cases of urgent treatment (marked accordingly), the period is reduced to 14 days.
Appointment overview & cancellations
Your appointments are reserved for you personally. Please check your appointment availability and let us know if you are unable to attend an appointment – at least by 9 a.m. on the day of the appointment.
Cancellations can be made around the clock by telephone (answering machine) or email. If we are notified after 9 a.m., we will have to charge a no-show fee of £40, as your health insurance company will only reimburse appointments that you attend.
