This is how the registration process works

Please select your type of insurance (statutory or private).

Review of your registration

We carefully review every registration. Our team decides whether a suitable therapy spot is currently available or whether you can be added to our therapy spot list.

Our practice has a limited number of home visit, practice and private places. Allocation is based on our space capacity, availability and the treatment specialisms of our therapists. In addition, there are only a few appointments available, some of which are booked up long in advance, particularly around lunchtime.

Therefore, it is not possible to consider every application or to offer a place on the therapy list in every case. If this is the case for you, we will inform you as soon as possible and ask for your understanding.

3.

Quick response

Within a week, we will let you know whether we can offer you a therapy place directly or whether we will add you to our therapy place list.

4.

Waiting list & active feedback

If you are on our waiting list, we ask you to actively contact us by e-mail after three months if you are still interested. If we do not hear from you, we will assume that your request has been dealt with and remove you from the therapy place list.

To ensure that your therapy with us gets off to a smooth start, we have compiled all the important information for you here:

Statutory co-payment

According to the German Social Security Code V (Sozialgesetzbuch V), people with statutory health insurance aged 18 and over are obliged to pay 10 % of the treatment costs and EUR 10.00 per prescription.

Co-payment amounts (individual prices):

  • Analysis of occupational therapy needs (only for initial prescription): EUR 4.15
  • Motor-functional treatment: EUR 5.69
  • Sensorimotor-perceptive treatment: EUR 7.59
  • Mental-functional treatment: EUR 9.49
  • Brain performance training: EUR 5.69
  • Thermal application: 0.85 EUR
  • Travel expenses for home visits: EUR 2.76

Pricing for privately insured persons

Our practice charges according to the generally accepted and appropriate rates for therapeutic products . The prices are based on 1.8 times the statutory health insurance rate – a standard that is customary in the private occupational therapy, speech therapy and physiotherapy sectors.

Since there is no binding scale of fees in the therapeutic products sector as there is for doctors, therapists are free to set their prices within reasonable limits.

Agreed remuneration rates

The following fees apply for the treatments to be carried out according to the doctor’s prescription:

  • Motor-functional treatment: € 94.99
  • Sensorimotor-perceptive treatment: € 126.65
  • Mental-functional treatment: € 158.31
  • Brain performance training: € 94.99
  • Home visit: 45,97 €
  • Medical history / findings (one-off for first prescription): € 69.17
  • Transmission fee for medical report: € 20.00
  • Group sensomotor-perceptive treatment (3 or more people): € 44.33
  • Group psychological-functional treatment (3 or more people): € 77.58
  • Mental-functional treatment group (2 persons): € 126.65

Important information on cost reimbursement

Reimbursement by private health insurers or state aid offices is not guaranteed and may not be provided in full or in part, depending on the tariff.

Possible reasons for this are

  • agreed deductibles or maximum reimbursement limits
  • Services not included in the tariff
  • Individual checks by the insurance company

Our invoicing is independent of the reimbursement of your private insurance. The payment obligation exists exclusively towards our practice.

Notes

  • Check your insurance conditions in advance
  • Submit the invoice and documents together
  • Clarify open questions directly with your insurance company
  • Ask for written feedback in the event of cuts

Prescription

So that we can get started immediately, we need your correctly issued prescription at least 72 hours before the first appointment. As a service provided by the practice, we will check this for you free of charge and get back to you immediately. You can drop these in our letterbox.

Important: Prescriptions for therapeutic products are valid for 28 days from the date of issue. If urgent treatment is required (marked accordingly), the period is reduced to 14 days.

Schedule & Cancellations

Your appointments are reserved for you personally. Please check your appointment availability and let us know if you are unable to keep an appointment – at least by 09:00 on the same day as the appointment.

Cancellations can be made around the clock by telephone (answering machine) or e-mail. If we are notified after 09:00, we will have to charge an absence fee of 40€, as your health insurance company will only reimburse appointments that are attended.
